Design Layout and
Consulting
Customer can provide a general idea of layout and style
which we will fine-tune and modify for HTML and CSS, or
customer can submit source material with no preconceived
layout. We will create and design an e-commerce (shopping)
site to your specific needs and specifications using custom
designed theme graphic elements for the site's appearance,
including navigation, headers and background
Our e-commerce
sites make it easy for you to manage and maintain your
site yourself, including your non-product pages and
information (such as your home page, links page, etc.) You
will be able to have as many articles or information pages
as you want, and create new ones integrated with the site
navigation as needed. |

During the design
process of each web site, we post a "test site" viewable
via the Internet. This will enable you to follow the
progress and development of your Web site from your
computer, and provide feedback to us regarding its layout
and design.
We make every
attempt to maintain a collaborative working environment,
where the client's opinions and ideas are incorporated into
the process at every level and stage of the project.
Once your web site
is launched and paid for, you have full ownership and
access to the site. Unlike many web design firms, I make
sure that all web site and hosting records are in your name.

What is
the process of building a site?
- First, we talk
about what you're thinking you want your
site to include. If you don't know exactly
what you want, I can help you decide what
you need.
- Together, we will
come up with a site outline in order to
determine how complex the site will be
(functions, number of pages, graphics,
etc.). Then I come up with a cost estimate
and proposal.
- Once you accept my
proposal, I draw up a contract agreement
which you sign and mail to me with your
initial payment (I accept cheques and credit
cards - via Paypal).
- After discussing
style, color, and image (the "feel" of the
site), I come up with a design to show you.
Sometimes the client is happy immediately,
sometimes I have to go back to the drawing
board and tweak it a bit.
- Upon approval, the
design is converted into code and the
framework of your site is built out.
- All the text
content and graphics are added.
- If an e-commerce
site, you make your final payment and I turn
over site administrative access to you for
you to start doing product entry (with full
instructions and support from me).
- Site is launched
and submitted to the appropriate search
engines, directories and web rings.
